Welcome to Cyborg Jesus, a good wholesome Christian organisation dedicated to acquiring advanced technology to further the agenda of the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth. We are engaged with combining human and machine for the creation of worship materials for all believers and non-believers to enjoy.
This is our story:
Once upon a time, there was a secret organization called the “Builders of the New Kingdom.” They were a group of dedicated individuals who believed that they could advance the Kingdom of Heaven by combining advanced technology with the teachings of Jesus.
The Builders of the New Kingdom believed that they could create a cyborg version of Jesus, one that would be able to walk among the people and spread the message of love and peace in a new and powerful way. They worked tirelessly, gathering advanced technologies from all over the world and using them to create the ultimate being.
As the cyborg Jesus was being built, the Builders of the New Kingdom continued to gather advanced technologies, believing that they would help bring about a new era of peace and prosperity. They built secret underground laboratories, where they conducted experiments and developed new technologies in secret.
Finally, the day came when the cyborg Jesus was ready. The Builders of the New Kingdom emerged from their underground laboratories, proud of their creation. The cyborg Jesus was a marvel of engineering, a powerful symbol of the power of technology and the teachings of Jesus.
As the cyborg Jesus walked the earth, spreading the message of love and peace, the Builders of the New Kingdom watched in amazement. They had succeeded in their mission, and they believed that they were on the cusp of bringing about a new era of peace and prosperity for all of humanity.
And so, the Builders of the New Kingdom continue to work in secret, gathering advanced technologies and using them to advance the Kingdom of Heaven. They remain dedicated to their mission, believing that one day, the world will be a better place for all.
About the Artist
KJ Halliday Jnr is an Australian artist and writer that has worked on a number of online art installations. Cyborg Jesus combines a human input (the artist) with computer-generated art and a mix of human and computer writing to explore the idea of religious iconography. Done partly in parody and partly in honour of the wide influence of Jesus as a literary and artistic inspiration and character, the project aims to discuss both the role of computers in art as well as religion.
